WHAT IS ALCOHOL & DRUG TESTING?
Drug and alcohol testing is the evaluation of urine, blood, or other types of biological sample to determine if the subject has been using alcohol or the drugs in question.
There are many ways individuals can be tested for drugs. Different tests show different periods of time to which was the drug was ingested.
DRUG TESTING FOR COURT
If you are required to undertake a drug test for the purpose of law matters, it’s up to the Court to decide how the drug testing is carried out, and it usually depends on what drug or drugs they are testing for.
In most cases in Court, urine testing is the most common form of drug testing. It’s beneficial for drug testing as it’s the fastest way to get a result.
Blood tests and hair follicle tests are another way the Court may choose to test an individual for the use of drugs. A hair follicle test can reveal whether the person has used certain drugs within the past 90 days.
